Since 1986, JapanFest Weekend has been the annual celebration of Japanfs bond of friendship with the State of Georgia. This year, JapanFest will be held on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20 at the Gwinnett Center.
JapanFest is made possible through the generous support of our partnering companies. This year, to better meet the needs of our partners, it is now possible to choose one of two methods by which to support the festival: 1) event sponsorship or 2) purchasing a ticket package.
Sponsoring the festival will elevate the awareness of your business within the Japanese and American communities, while purchasing a ticket package will provide your employees, clients, family, and friends with the opportunity to experience Japanfs unique culture.
The benefits of sponsoring include: 1) Widespread media coverage through marketing relationships with the Japanese community in Georgia and the southeastfs leading print news source, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution; 2) Exposure to a large, upscale audience ready to buy or experience your products or services; 3) Proactive promotion of your companyfs interest in cultural groups to increase your companyfs brand awareness; and 4) An increase of cultural awareness among your employees through participation in the festival.
The benefits of purchasing a ticket package include: 1) Discounted ticket prices; and 2) Listing in the official JapanFest program for all who purchase ticket packages by August 14@(extended to September 1) . Unused tickets may be returned to the JapanFest office, which will donate them to local students who otherwise might not be able to attend the festival.
